Argentine center-midfielder Rodrigo de Paul, who played for the La Liga club Atletico Madrid under Diego Simeone, is ready for a new chapter in his career. The 31-year-old has been a vital part of Simeone’s squad over the years, making 187 appearances for the team in which he has scored 14 goals and provided 26 assists across all competitions. He has won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina and has also won the 2021 & 2024 Copa America with them. However, during his four years with Atletico Madrid, he has failed to win a major silverware with the club.

He is now set to wear the pink jersey as Inter Miami have confirmed the signing of the 31-year-old Argentine. De Paul has joined the MLS club for a whopping transfer fee of €15 million from Atletico Madrid. He has signed a four-year contract with the club and will be keen to join the squad and play alongside his national team-mate & captain Lionel Messi, who has been in sensational form recently playing for Miami.
