IPL, which began in 2008, has come a long way as the 1000th match of the cash-rich cricket league is scheduled to be played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, April 30. The longevity and success of this T20 league show the popularity and craze among cricket fans. Here, we will see how many games have been played in the IPL each season and the route to the 1000th match.
