Chennai Super Kings posted 200 on the board after opting to bat first in the ongoing IPL match against Punjab Kings. With Devon Conway playing all-important knock of unbeaten 92, skipper MS Dhoni also played a quick cameo smashing two back-to-back sixes of Sam Curran on the last two balls of the innings.

During one of the spells  of Sam Curran, Saba Karim, who is part of the broadcasters panel made a bold statement on the England all-rounder. The former cricketer opined that Curran is a better captain than Punjab Kings’ regular skipper Shikhar Dhawan.

“Sam Curran is way better captain than Shikhar Dhawan,” Saba Karim said on-air while commentating alongside RP Singh.  Talking about Sam Curran, in his eight innings, the England all-rounder has scalped eight wickets with the strike rate of 27.83.  He has also scored 163 runs so far in the IPL 2023.

Earlier during the match, former Indian pacer RP Singh also made a startling revelation about MS Dhoni. Singh stated that it was Zaheer Khan who guided the bowlers, not MS Dhoni.
