Tanmay Singh, aka Scout, has announced that BGMI Masters Series Season 3 will be the last tournament for Team Z before the team shuts down. This surprising decision comes after a disappointing performance in the Masters Series. However, Scout has yet to reveal which team he will join in the future.
Team Z, led by Scout and featuring players like SyedOP, Addy, KYLLO, and Daksh, had below-average performances in both BGIS 2024 and BGMS Season 3. Despite still being in the race for the BGMS Season 3 finals, Scout has decided to shut down the team.
Scout also clarified that he is not retiring and will seek a new team after the Masters Series. He mentioned that anyone interested in continuing under the Team Z name is welcome to do so.
Scout said, “This will be the last tournament of tz. Tz will shutdown after this lan event, anyone wants to continue playing on the name of tz they can. We will give our best as team for this event, it was a sweet journey. I will be open for opportunities after this lan event".
The team, created by Scout with the hope of achieving better results under his leadership, has unfortunately failed to deliver the expected performance in any tournament.
Team Z finished 22nd in the BGMS Season 3 Group Stage and advanced to the next stage through audience voting. Scout expressed disappointment with their performance, as he wanted to qualify their performance, not through voting.
In the Opening Week, the team earned only 11 points, and during the League Stage, they finished 18th out of 20 teams with 146 points. While they showed promise in some matches, securing brilliant wins, the team struggled with consistency overall.
Team Z will compete in the playoffs starting August 6th, and it will be interesting to see how they conclude their journey. Additionally, with the BMPS 2024 set to begin in August after the Masters Series, fans are eager to find out which team Scout will join next.
