With almost twenty games still left in this season, the Juve who were initially placed at the third place are now reeling at the eleventh place and has been pushed outside the qualifying spot for the European leagues.

It is to be noted that earlier in the season, the club’s entire board including Director Pavel Nedved and President Agnelli had quit the club following the accusations of false financial records surfaced. The prosecutors had even asked for a nine-point deduction but the club has been handed with 15 points instead, however they can still appeal on it.

The Old Lady has now opened up post the point deduction. The club lawyers said, “We consider this to be a blatant injustice also for millions of fans, which we trust will soon be remedied in the next court.”

“The Company awaits the publication of the reasons of the decision and announces as of now the bringing of an appeal to the Sport Guarantee Board in accordance with the terms of the Sport Justice Code,” a part of the official press release by Juventus read.
