Kolkata Knight Riders registered a dominating win over Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday (April 6) at the Eden Gardens. After being invited to bat first, the Nitish Rana-led side posted 204 runs on the board, courtesy Shardul Thakur’s match-winning knock of 68.

The side was well supported by their co-owner and Bollywood celebrity Shahrukh Khan, who was also present at the stadium. During their win at home on return of the home-away format of the tournament, the Shahrukh Khan-owned franchise had a fan with disability.

It was the same fan named Harshul Goenka whose video went viral the last time he met the King of Bollywood during IPL 2018. This time again, the franchise shared the video of Harshul meeting Shahrukh Khan, post team’s win against RCB on Thursday. The video of these two instances is now doing rounds on social media.

Harshul, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has been a long-time KKR fan. He has been part of the KKR family now.

Talking about the Kolkata-based franchise, the side will next face defending champions Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 9. While they lost their opening match against Punjab Kings in a rain-affected match, after two matches, the Nitish Rana-led side sits at the third place in the 10-team points table with two points.
