Defending champions Gujarat Titans are taking on five-time champions Mumbai Indians in what is match number 35 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The two teams are locking horns for the first time in IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

In the ongoing match with Arjun Tendulkar and Neha Wadhera at the crease for MI, former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra made a surprising statement. This statement came after seeing both Tendulkar and Wadhera as left-hander batters, which soon was followed by Jason Behrendorff taking the fielding after Piyush Chawla’s dismissal.

As soon as it moved to left-handers'  game, Aakash Chopra, who was part of the Hindi commentary panel was quoted as saying, “Mein kya karu? Job chod du? (What do I do? Should I leave the job?).”

This line has been going viral ever since it was used by comedian Abhishek Upamanyu. This later even turned into a meme template, which was also used by Indian all-rounder R Ashwin sharing a picture of Cheteshwar Pujara bowling during the Nagpur Test during the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
