The second Battlegrounds Mobile India ( BGMI ) event of the 2024 season has been named Skyesports Mobile Open. The tournament had qualifiers for the upcoming teams, along with a few teams getting a direct invitation to play in the quarter-finals. The event comes with a huge prize pool of ₹ 10 lakh, along with a few special awards to be given for special individual performances.
The top 10 teams of the Skyesports BGMI rankings leaderboards received a direct invite for the quarterfinal stage of the event. The teams delivered a consistent performance across previous BGMI events and hence, earned a direct spot in the event. A total of 32 teams, divided into four groups will compete in the Skyesports Mobile Open 2024 QF. The Skyesports BGMI Mobile Open 2024 event saw 1024 competing in the open qualifiers.
In the quarterfinal, the top 16 teams will advance to the semifinal, and the bottom 16 will play the lower bracket stage. The top eight teams from this stage will then qualify for the semifinals, out of which the top 16 teams will then play in the grand finals for the coveted title. The tournament will be live-streamed on the official Skyesports YouTube Channel and the Skyesports Rooter Channel from 20th March noon onwards.
