After an enthralling Monaco Grand Prix, Formula 1 will now travel to Barcelona in Spain for the seventh race of the season. Initially, it was supposed to be the eighth race, but after the cancellation of the Italian Grand Prix meant this would be the seventh. Max Verstappen continued his stunning form in this season in the last race in Monaco as he finished first for the fourth time in six races. The Dutch outpaced Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin on every lap but had to navigate through a torrential downpour. With the win, the Red Bull driver managed to hold on to earn his 39th F1 victory and fourth of 2023.
