The highly-anticipated action video game - Chivalry 2 is finally set to release on Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S on June 8. A lot of buzz has been made around this sequel of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare which is expected to deliver an exciting and entertaining multiplayer experiences to all the gamers.

Character classes in Chivalry 2
Ahead of the game's release, few unique qualities of each class (Archer, Knight, Footman, Vamguard) have been revealed. Here is everything you need to know about them:
1. Archer
As the name suggests, an Archer will have an exciting mix of weapons like crossbows and javelins and will help in causing significant damage from a distance. While they have a relatively lower health compared to others, the Archer has a special ability called Brazier (light arrows on fire).
2. Knight
The Knight should be the preferred choice for beginners because of the significant health of the character class. From the shield-wielding Guardian to the high-damage Crusader, the Knight has a very balannced mix of weapons. In addition, the Knight also has a special ability called Oil Pot (fire throwable).
3. Footman
The Footman is what we call as 'Jack of All Trades' who is perfect for players preferring to play with defense and combat strategy. They have the special ability of bandage kit which can be used in healing their teammates. The Footman also stand out with their fast movement speed coupled with lethal array of weapons.
4. Vanguard
Playing with the Vanguard provides a high risk, high reward equation as the class has some extremely lethal high-damage weapons but the absence of shields make them slightly vulnerable. Just like the Knight, the Vanguard also has the special ability of Oil Pot (fire throwable).
