Team India is likely to host Sri Lanka for a white-ball series following Bangladesh tour in December 2022. According to a report published in Khel Tak, both the South Asian nations will play three ODIs and as many T20Is between December 2022 and January 2023.

Meanwhile, Team India under the leadership of Hardik Pandya (T20Is) and Shikhar Dhawan (ODIs) will tour New Zealand to play three-match T20Is followed by as many ODI games. Notably, the New Zealand tour will start from November 18. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has already announced the squad and appointed Hardik Pandya as a skipper for T20Is, while Shikhar Dhawan will take charge for the ODI series.

After the New Zealand tour, the Men in Blue will tour Bangladesh to play a white-ball series followed by a Test series. The bilateral contest will start with three ODI games, starting from December 4 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. After the conclusion of the white-ball series, both teams will play red-ball contest, starting from December 14, while the second Test will start from December 22. The venue of the 1st Test is Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, while Shere Bangla National Stadium will host the second Test.

Notably, Indian selectors have announced the squad for ODI and Test series with Rohit Sharma trusted to lead the squad in both the series. While Indian selectors have rested few senior players from the New Zealand tour, full-strength squad has been named against Bangladesh.

India will tour New Zealand after a disappointing end to their T20 World Cup campaign as Rohit Sharma-led side failed to outclass England in the semi-final stage.
