To start the series, Hardik Pandya-led Team India won the toss and invited Australia to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium in the 1 st ODI of the series. While Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood for India, skipper Hardik Pandya with the combined effort of KL Rahul dismissed Aussie skipper KL Rahul.
