The young Mumbai all-rounder, Suryansh Shedge has been picked up as a replacement for injured Jaydev Unadkat in the Lucknow Super Giants squad for remaining IPL 2023. Jaydev Unadkat got injured two weeks ago while bowling in the LSG nets after falling on the ground during the follow-through of his delivery and has sustained a serious injury. Suryansh joins LSG for INR 20 Lakh as Unadkat's replacement.

Shedge was in the news for the first time when he smashed the fastest triple century in the Giles Shield Tournament seven years ago. Although he hasn’t played any cricket at the domestic level, he is known for his aggression and flawless wristwork. Along with chipping in with the ball, Suryansh is also a great fielder.
