The 2022 T20 Women's Asia Cup featuring seven teams is all set to commence on October 1 in Bangladesh. Hosts and defending champions Bangladesh will play the opener against Thailand on October 1, while Team India, the most successful team of the tournament will play against Sri Lanka in the second match of the day in Sylhet.
Interestingly, India has won six out of the seven editions of the 2022 Asia Cup and has qualified for each and every final of the tournament. In fact, the undisputed Indian women’s team had not lost a single match in any edition of the Asia Cup so far except in the final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018.
