Preview:

Scotland and Zimbabwe will face off in match number 12 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. While Zimbabwe registered a win over Ireland in their opening match before losing to West Indies in their next encounter, Scotland stunned the two-time Champions West Indies in their opening match before facing a defeat to Ireland. With both teams on 2 points much like the other two teams in Group B, this makes for a really interesting battle.

Analysis:

Michael Jones of Scotland is the highest run-getter in the tournament so far with 106 runs from 2 innings, 86 of those coming in one innings alone. Yet riding on that kind of form, he should be able to merit a place in the Fantasy XI. George Munsey with his unbeaten 66 in the first match also showed what he is capable of on his day.

Top order batter Richard Berrington and wicketkeeper batter Matthew Cross are the other options in Scotland who can fetch the user points. From the bowlers, Mark Watt has been Scotland's best with 4 wickets in his 8 overs at an economy of under 7. All-rounder Michael Leask hasn't been that bad with the ball either, having scalped 3 wickets in his 6 overs at an even better economy of 5.16.

From Zimbabwe, it would be too much of a risk to leave out Sikandar Raza who has contributed handsomely both with the bat and ball. While he has 96 runs from his 2 innings and is the leading run-getter for his team, he has also taken 4 wickets from his 7 overs at a superb economy rate of 5.16. He is also one of the contenders to be the captain or the vice-captain of the team.

Luke Jongwe and Wessly Madhevere are the other players who could be selected, considering their returns with the bat in recent matches. Among bowling options, it would be hard to look beyond Blessing Muzarabani the highest wicket-taker for the team with 5 scalps from his 8 overs. Sean Williams and Richard Ngarava are other bowling options who have shown great form.
