India, the former T20 World Cup champions, have qualified through to the Super 8 stage of the 2024 edition of the tournament after winning their first three matches in Group A against Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA. At the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, the Indian cricket team were quite clinical with their performance, especially with the ball, which ensured their qualification through to the next stage of the T20 World Cup 2024.
Prior to heading to the Caribbean to play in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024, India will be taking on Canada at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, on Saturday, June 15. Notably, the first two matches in the Super 8 stage of the tournament are going to be against two teams from Group C and D before they take on Australia, who made it through the next round from Group B after getting the better of Oman, England, and Namibia.
