Team India will take on Zimbabwe in their last group-stage game of the T20 World Cup 2022. The Men in Blue played against Pakistan, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Bangladesh in their first four games. While they defeated Pakistan and the Netherlands, India lost to South Africa and had to play a must-win game against Bangladesh which they won, making it three wins in four games.
Now, the Rohit Sharma-led team have to face Zimbabwe before they prepare for the knockout stages. India will make experiments but will want those two points to finish their Super 12 campaign on a high. Zimbabwe can be a tricky opponent considering how they beat Pakistan and almost Bangladesh too. Hence, India won’t take them lightly at all.
Apart from playing each other, there is another major worry for both teams and that is the weather forecast. This edition of the T20 World Cup has been rain-hit with games getting abandoned. Fortunately for India, their four games went smoothly and were uninterrupted by the rain. Now, with only a few games left, Indian fans will hope that rain gods continue to shower their blessings but not shower actually.
For the game against Zimbabwe, there is not much to worry about with the weather forecast clear. According to weather.com, the forecast for November 6 in Melbourne is encouraging. The temperature is expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius during the day time with 56% humidity in the air and a 9% chance of rain. The temperature is expected to go down to 13 degrees Celsius during the night with the humidity going up to 77%. The rain probability, however, goes down to 7%.
So, India and Zimbabwe fans can easily plan their day around the game as it is most probably expected to happen and that too without any interruption.
