The buzzing Chinese city of Shenzhen will play host to the Global Esports Summit 2023 and Tencent Esports Annual Conference on July 14 and 15, 2023. This much awaited event, with the theme ‘Link to Future’, brings together industry experts, esports aficionados, players, and important stakeholders from all over the world to discuss and celebrate the development of esports.
At the event, new games created by Tencent will also be unveiled. It is to be noted that Tencent Esports has become the most well-known and fiercely competitive esports brand in the world over the past ten years. For both domestic and international development, Tencent Esports offers qualified and thorough support and one such occasion that fosters the same is the Esports Summit.
The conference is said to bring together specialists and leaders from five worldwide associations to debate the future of the esports sector after the success of SPARK 2023. The conference will also include insights on the upcoming Asian Games Esports competitions, scheduled to start in September 2023.
Most notably, it has been mentioned that this event would debut brand-new Tencent-developed esports games. There hasn't been any information on what these will be, however there's a potential that one of the few mentioned will be Need for Speed Mobile Online, which is rumoured to be called NFS Zeal.
The new competitions for Peacekeeper Elite, the Chinese-rebranded version of PUBG Mobile, was one noticeable announcement made at the previous year's Esports Summit.
