That roar, that emotion: Over one lakh Indian fans sing national anthem during IND vs PAK World Cup 2023; Twitter overwhelmed

The Men in Blue locked horns with their arch-rivals Pakistan in a high-octane match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 on October 14, Sunday. It was for the first time in seven years that the neighboring nations clashed against each other on Indian soil during the fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Known as the world's largest cricket stadium, the official capacity of the venue is 1,32,000.

While the number of fans in attendance on Saturday has not been officially revealed, it is speculated that more than one lakh Indian fans were present during the game.  The Indian fans came together to sing the Indian national anthem in unison, and needless to say, it was a brilliant uniting moment for the fellow countrymen . 

While the national anthem rang out loud at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Twitter got emotional as fans expressed how was it to hear more than a lakh people come together to sing the Indian anthem.
