It was for the first time in seven years that the neighboring nations clashed against each other on Indian soil during the fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Known as the world's largest cricket stadium, the official capacity of the venue is 1,32,000.

While the number of fans in attendance on Saturday has not been officially revealed, it is speculated that more than one lakh Indian fans were present during the game. The Indian fans came together to sing the Indian national anthem in unison, and needless to say, it was a brilliant uniting moment for the fellow countrymen .
