The BGIS 2025 In-Qualifiers are set to kick off on 25 January. Registered teams need to play 15 classic matches with their registered four players, in which the best 10 matches will be counted. The stakes are high, as only the top 1016 teams from the Open Qualifiers will qualify for Round 1. All the teams participating in the tournament must know the rules, as many players often get confused, leading to disqualification or their matches not being counted. One of the most confusing aspects is whether theme mode can be played in the In-Game qualifiers. Check out all the details below.

Theme Mode Allowed or Not in BGIS 2025 In-Game Qualifiers?

No, you cannot play theme mode in the BGIS 2025 In-Game Qualifiers. Players are only allowed to play normal-ranked matches in Erangel, Miramar, or Sanhok. Matches played in theme modes will not be counted towards the final results. Check out all the rules below:

Only the first 15 matches played with registered squad members shall be deemed valid. All the matches played by the registered teams during the In-Game Qualifiers will be evaluated based on their team finishes and ranking.

The top 1016 teams after the end of in-game qualifiers will advance to Round 1. In case of a tiebreaker, teams are selected based on the other stats. Make sure all of your squad members are aged 16 or above, and their BGMI ID must be level 30+ and above Platinum 1 Tier.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 will take place from 25 January to 20 April 2025, featuring 64 pro teams and 1,016 teams from open qualifiers. The top 16 teams from the online phase will compete for the INR 2 crore prize pool in the Grand Finals will be held in Kolkata from 18-20 April.
