India cricketer and former captain Virat Kohli shared a social media post on Monday (31 October) that showed a video of his hotel room. The cricketer revealed that someone shot this clip and shared it on social media when he was not around. He called out the hotel management for breach of privacy and also shared a strong message.

The 33-year-old said that although he appreciates fans showing immense love for him and other such celebrities, such privacy invasion should not be entertained at any cost. The Indian cricketer said that people should not treat them like “commodity for entertainment”. After Kohli, his wife Anushka Sharma posted a strong message for the people who leaked the video and also further shared it.

The Bollywood actress said that she has experienced incidents where fans have shown no compassion and grace, but this was the worst of everything. Calling the act an absolute disgrace, Sharma said that whoever defends such acts saying that celebrities have to deal with it, is also a part of the problem.

“Have experienced few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this is really the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks ‘celebrity ho! Toh deal karna padega’ should know that you are also a part of the problem,” wrote Sharma on social media.

“Exercising some self control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom, where is the line?” she added.
