Veteran India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja starred with the ball, picking up three wickets in his 10-over spell, skipper Rohit Sharma played a match-winning knock of 119 runs off 90 deliveries, ending his long-awaited century drought.
Coming into the match after scoring just two off seven deliveries in the opening match in Nagpur, Rohit Sharma bounced back in style as he guided Team India from the front. Moreover, his knock was crucial seeing the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to be played in a few days time.

Speaking of the 37-year-old, Rohit Sharma was at his vintage best as he scored 119 off 90 deliveries with his innings being laced with 12 boundaries and seven sixes. With his crucial knock, Rohit Sharma scored his 32nd ton in ODIs, which is most by an Indian player after Virat Kohli (50) and Sachin Tendulkar (49). Moreover, Rohit Sharma also broke legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s record of scoring most centuries after his 30th birthday.
While India have taken as unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series, the Rohit Sharma-led side will return to action when they take on England in the final ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, February 12.
