Shubman Gill has been the most reliable opening batsman in ODIs for India in the last 9-10 months. Despite his not so good performance in the recently concluded West Indies series, he has proved himself as one of the solid batsmen to have played for India in the international series that happened earlier from Jan-Mar 2023. Virat Kohli has been in a different league once again after he scored his 71st international century against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022.
