Match Preview
After displaying terrific cricket in the first of three games ODI series, India will take on host South Africa in the second ODI clash on December 19, Tuesday. For the next match, action will now shift to St. George’s Oval, where the Indian squad will look forward to continuing their dominant run. In the first match of the three-match ODI series on Sunday at the Wanderers Stadium, home captain Aiden Markram won the toss over the away captain KL Rahul. Markram had invited the rival team to bowl first. We think the home-ground factor would play its charm and Markram would come on top of the toss battle to extend his tally to 2-0 in terms of toss.
Win Possibility
India and South Africa have already locked horns once in the 50-over format series. Before that, the teams clashed against each other in a three-match T20I series, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Needless to say, the upcoming game and current series hold significant value for both sides. While India will look forward to continuing their win streak, South Africa will aim to make a comeback and force a decider.
The Indian side showed exceptional skills in the first match of the series, and we expect the bowling department to continue their run. The bowlers and batters will come together to lead the 2007 World Cup winners to another win in the next match.
