Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has confirmed the club inserted a buy-back clause in the Harry Kane deal with Bayern Munich. Harry Kane moved to Bayern Munich in a four-year deal that could be worth up to £100 million. Spurs decided to cash in on the striker rather than let him leave for nothing next summer, as it was the last year of his contract.
Kane had a stellar stint in the Premier League, scoring 278 goals and getting 64 assists for Spurs during his decade-long stay with the side. The striker has carried his form to Bayern Munich, as he has started the season in amazing form, scoring four goals and getting one assist in four matches so far. However, Spurs fans could see their star striker return to the club as chairman Daniel Levy has said that the club inserted a buy-back clause in the deal and can bring back Kane.

The England captain joined Tottenham as a youngster, and in a video message to supporters after joining Bayern, he raised the possibility of a future reunion, saying, “It’s not a goodbye, because you never know how things pan out in the future... I’ll see you soon."
Daniel Levy has now confirmed, “There is a buyback clause.” While addressing supporters alongside manager Ange Postecoglou, new captain Heung-min Son, and women’s head coach Robert Vilahamn, he added, “He’s always welcome back. Harry’s a much loved and valued member of the Spurs family and forever in our history.”

The details of the clause, like the cost and when it could be triggered, were not mentioned by the Spurs chairman. The striker will make his Champions League debut for Bayern on Wednesday night as they host Manchester United at the Allianz Arena. United were understood to be one of the other clubs targeting Kane earlier this summer but opted for the young Rasmus Hojlund instead.
