Fans have a tendency to make predictions in the field of sports and considering the popularity of cricket and the Indian Premier League, the tendencies increase multifold. And, while making predictions is an easy thing to do, to get them accurate is certainly not. However, there are times when luck favours fans and what they predict goes absolutely correct. The same happened with one of the fans during the 65th fixture of the Indian Premier League 2023, played between SunRisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The game witnessed a blistering knock by the former skipper of Royal Challenger Bangalore, Virat Kohli, which was predicted by a fan a few hours before the match.
Before the SRH vs RCB match, a fan accurately predicted Virat Kohli’s century, along with the number of deliveries he would take to reach the three-figure-score. While his prediction about the ton went accurate, the prediction about the deliveries went wrong by a slight margin. The tweet by a fan before the match read, "Virat Kohli masterclass loading tonight? Finally a century off 61 balls🤞”
Virat Kohli ended up playing a blistering knock of 100 runs and he took 62 deliveries for the same. It was the RCB legend’s first century for the season and sixth IPL 100. Following his prediction, some fans hailed his predictions, a few others asked him to predict the winner of the IPL 2023.
