India received a massive blow on Day 2 of the ongoing fourth Test between India and England. As Jack Leach dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara for the fourth time, all-rounder Ben Stokes got off to a great start dismissing Team India skipper Virat Kohli for a duck in the very next over.

This is the second time in the series that Virat Kohli was sent off for a duck, the other being in 2014 in England. Notably, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes and Pat Cummins - all have dismissed Virat Kohli five times till now.

How it happened?

Ben Stokes banged in the short and Kohli’s loose defensive shot got big on him outside off in the 26.4 ball of the India innings by wicketkeeper Foakes to take the skipper for a duck.

Virat Kohli comes to Siraj’s defense on Day 1

Ben Stokes was found mouthing off to Mohammed Siraj, after the bowler delivered a bouncer on Day 1 of the ongoing Test. Being a new player in the national side, Team India skipper Virat Kohli came to rescue.

As the two English batsmen Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow were in the middle, Kohli captured eyeballs when he walked towards them to counter. Umpire Nitin Menon was forced to intervene the conversation.

Mohammed Siraj in the post day conference revealed the reason of the altercation, the social media left no stone unturned as fans took the incident by storm.

Team India need to win or draw the final Test match to secure a berth in World Test Championship. Kane Williamson-led New Zealand is already into the finals of the WTC and will see India or Australia, depending on the result of the ongoing final Test.
