Reigniting the famed North-London Derby, English forward Harry Kane will lead Bayern Munich against Premier League leaders Arsenal in the first UEFA Champions League 2023-24 Quarterfinal clash. The European footballing body unveiled the draw for the final eight stage of the Champions League. Hosting the ceremony, UEFA Deputy General Secretary Giorgio Marchetti and Portuguese journalist Pedro Pinto were joined by former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel. 

Starting the unveiling of the draw, Obi-Mikel first opened the ball containing the chit with Arsenal's name. Following the Gunner, the 2011-12 UCL winner pulled out the defending German Champions. The confirmation of the Arsenal - Bayern Munich clash, immediately brought back memories of the North-London Derby, played between PL side Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Representing the white side of London, Harry Kane was a vital cog in this fixture and numerous times scored against Arsenal while the Gunners have often found the better of the Spurs. Hence this clash will certainly bring back memories for both. Alongside the North-London angle, Arsenal and Bayern Munich have a history in the Champions League.

The last time these two teams locked in Europe's top club football competition, the Bavarians decimated their English counterparts with a 10-2 aggregate in the 2016-17 season with two consecutive 5-1 results in the home and away legs.
