The UEFA Champions League is underway as Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will face the likes of Spanish giants Barcelona in the Group C fixture on Tuesday night. Recently, former Germany and Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger predicted the score for the upcoming Allianz Arena fixture.
Bayern Munich have dominated Barcelona in head-to-head UCL fixtures as the former have won eight times and played a draw in 11 games leaving the La Liga club with only two wins. Both the teams were drawn against each other in the same group in the UCL 2021-22 and Bayern ended winning both the legs with an identical 3-0 score.
Ahead of their UCL 2022-23 fixture on September 13, Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed his decision on Bayer Munich vs Barcelona clash as the former midfielder has picked the home team to win the tie with a score of 4-2. Former Manchester United midfielder took to Twitter and wrote, " Which #FCB will win today 🤔 My decision has been made 😉 #UCL. "
He added in the thread, " My guess: 4-2 for @FCBayern , what's yours? "
Meanwhile, other marquee UCL fixture on Tuesday include Premier League giants Liverpool against Dutch club Ajax while Sporting Lisbon will host Tottenham Hotspur in early clash on Tuesday.
