Urbanrisers Hyderabad, led by former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, reached the final of the Legends Cricket League (LLC) last year, only to suffer a tough defeat at the hands of Manipal Tigers. After finishing in the top two places in the league stage of LLC, Urbanrisers Hyderabad made it through to the knockout stage of the tournament in the previous season, and they will be looking to continue their rich vein of form in the 2024 season.
Ahead of the new season of the LLC 2024, Urbanrisers Hyderabad retained only three players from their squad from the last season, including their captain Suresh Raina. They also kept the former Indian right-handed batter, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, and Peter Trego from England in their squad ahead of the LLC 2024 Auction, where they will spend a maximum of ₹8 Crore, to build their squad for the third season of the tournament.
