The Upthrust Esports has unveiled the fifth Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event of the 2024 season, which has been named as ‘Challengers Showdown’. The event, which will be played from May 6 to May 29, boasts of some seasoned as well some well-known teams in iQOO soul, Carnival Gaming, Team 8Bit, etc.
The event also boasts of a prize pool worth INR 9 Lakh, which caters to the Redemption Week, Semifinals and the Grand Finals.
What is the format of the Upthrust Esports BGMI Challengers Showdown Season 2?
The Upthrust Esports BGMI Challengers Showdown Season 2 will see a total of 32 team compete in the Redemption Week, which will be played from May 6 to 8. Here the 32 team have been divided in four groups, consisting of eight teams each. From here, the bottom 24 teams will play the Eliminator Week, which is scheduled to be played from May 13 to 15.
While the bottom 24 teams will play in the Eliminator Week, the top eight team directly move to the semifinal, set to be played from May 20 to 22, followed by the Grand Finals. The finale will be held across three days, from May 27 to May 29.

INR 5 Lakh: Grand Finals
The event also boasts a prize money for the most Valuable Player (MVP), however the amount is yet unknown.
