Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant met with a major accident on 30 December when he was travelling from Delhi to Roorkee to meet his mother. The wicketkeeper batter suffered several injuries and hence was admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. While Pant received his initial treatment in Dehradun, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arranged an air ambulance and got Pant shifted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for further treatment.
The Indian cricket board said that Pant will receive his further treatment at the top hospital in Mumbai and under the direct supervision of BCCI Medical Team. “The Board of Control for Cricket in India have made all the necessary arrangements to shift India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant to Mumbai. Rishabh, who is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at Max Hospital, Dehradun following a car accident on 30th December, will be brought to Mumbai in an air ambulance,” BCCI said in a release.
“He will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute and will be under the direct supervision of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head - the Centre for Sports Medicine, and Director - Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the hospital. Rishabh will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation.”
Amid all this, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has continued to garner attention with her publicity stunts around Pant. The latest one came on Thursday (5 January) when Rautela shared an Instagram story that had a snapshot of the hospital where Pant is admitted, indicating that she is residing nearby the hospital.
