VALORANT Champions 2022 is scheduled to take place in Turkey's Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul, and the craze for the ultimate international tournament of the year is unparalleled. The testimony of the same was the fact that minutes after Riot Games opened the doors for fans to purchase tickets for the event, it went sold out.

According to ticket provider website, Biletix fans flooded the website as Riots posted the ticket links and provided an opportunity for everyone to witness the event closely. The total time it took for tickets of the Grand Final at Volkswagen Arena was about 30 minutes.

However, several gamers have expressed their disappointment over the fact that they could not get the tickets online. Early reports suggested that lot of people could not get the tickets because of server error but few minutes later it was confirmed that tickets for the Valorant Champions 2022 Final were sold and that too within ten minutes.

Notably, the fresh edition of the World Championship for VALORANT is only second official championship but it is largely different from last year. The organisers have switched the playoffs into double-elimination format instead of single-elimination and the playoffs will be played in front of crowd for the first time at a world championship level. It is also a second international VALORANT event to be played in front of the crowd after VCT Masters Copenhagen last month.

Additionally, a new world champion is assured to be crowned after last year’s winners, Acend, failed to make it past the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier. The tournament will kick start on August 31 with the Group Stage, featuring 16 teams from around the world and number will be whittled down to eight for the Playoff Stage.
