On May 14 Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals by a comfortable margin of 112 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the match 60 of the Indian Premier League 2023. During the one-sided game, Virat Kohli, the RCB opener, was caught on camera enjoying the wicket of Shimron Hetymer, the last hope for RR, in their pursuit of a 172-run target.
A Twitter user, who was at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, captured the moment and shared it on the platform. Shortly afterwards, the video has gone viral on social media with hundreds of fans interacting on it as we speak.

Earlier in the day, Faf du Plessis, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bat first in a must-win game. His decision was proven correct as he and Virat Kohli put together a 50-run opening stand. Once Kohli was dismissed by KM Asif for 18 runs, Glenn Maxwell joined Du Plessis in the middle and they stitched together a fantastic partnership of 69 runs to put their team in a strong position while completing their fifties.
Shortly afterwards, when RCB lost four wickets in quick succession, it looked as if they would struggle to get past the 150 total. But Anuj Rawat came to the rescue as he smashed 29 off 11 balls with three fours and two maximums to propel Royal Challengers to 171/5 score in their allotted 20 overs.
The run chase for Rajasthan Royals started badly as they lost three of their top batters, including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson, inside the first two overs of the innings. RR kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they got bowled out for just 59 runs in front of their home fans, who came to support them at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, on a very hot Sunday afternoon.
