The Men in Blue are currently playing three-match ODI series against New Zealand. While the team trails 0-1 in the series post their 7-wicket loss on Friday (25 November) at the Eden Park, Auckland.

While it is Shikhar Dhawan who is leading the side with senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Shami have been rested after the T20 World Cup 2022 debacle. Although, these players have now hit the nets as they are set to return with the Bangladesh series later, earlier next month.

While Virat Kohli was seen at the gym, Rohit Sharma was spotted practicing at the nets ahead of the Bangladesh ODI series. However, on Saturday (26 November), India’s star batter Virat Kohli shared a picture from the India-Pakistan match, played on October 23, 2022.

“October 23rd 2022 will always be special in my heart. Never felt energy like that in a cricket game before. What a blessed evening that was”, captioned Kohli.

 

Notably, India began their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign with a win over arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23, 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Men in Blue won the game by four wickets on the back of an unbeaten knock of 82 off 53 balls. While it was Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya who starred with the ball scalping three wickets each in their four-over spell.
