Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has made a name for himself as a social media personality. From time to time, he comes up with some hilarious memes and trolls which make him a favourite among the Twitterati. And now the Indian domestic cricket legend has yet again managed to dig out a meme based on the Bollywood movie No Entry describing the low bounce on the Kanpur pitch for the ongoing India vs New Zealand test.
He simply captioned the epic Anil Kapoor dialogue "Thoda neeche thoda neeche bolke kitna neeche leke aa gaya" with "Bounce to Kanpur pitch curator: #INDvNZ." Notably, there has been uneven bounce on the surface at Kanpur, with the odd ball keeping low, on an otherwise good-looking batting surface. However, the ball which has kept low has created chances for the bowlers and made the wicketkeeper's job more difficult behind the stumps.

Earlier, Jaffer posted a hilarious meme trolling himself after Shreyas Iyer reached a century on his Test debut on Friday. Jaffer posted an image inspired by the iconic Shah Rukh Khan starrer Main Hoon Na which read "Mumbai batsman to sab debut mein century maarte hain" to which SRK's character is responding "Sab nahi maarte Shreyas" in context of Jaffer missing out on a hundred on his Test debut.
Iyer became the 16th Indian to score a century on his Test debut. Before Iyer, the last two batters to score a hundred on debut also happen to be from Mumbai with Rohit Sharma and Prithvi Shaw announcing their arrival at the big stage with a hundred in 2013 and 2018 respectively. Both these tons had come in a home Test match against West Indies with Shreyas achieving the feat against New Zealand.

Despite his ton though, Shreyas may well have to make place for captain Virat Kohli for the second Test in Mumbai. Virat was on a break after the T20 World Cup and will join the team for the second Test. Shreyas batted at Virat's position for his hundred and it would be interesting to see where and how Kohli is drafted into the Playing XI now.
