KKR players are not having a great time in their match against Rajasthan Royals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. After a dreadful outing with the ball, KKR had a horrible first over, in fact, the first ball while batting. KKR lost one of their openers on the very first ball due to a miscommunication and a bullet throw by Shimron Hetmyer.

On the very first ball of the 1st over of the KKR innings, Trent Boult fed Aaron Finch a full ball which the batter handled well. Finch pushed the ball towards the cover's fielder and kept running after playing the shot. Seeing Finch running towards the non-striker's end, Sunil Narine also obliged and went for a run.

However, Shimron Hetmyer who was brimming with confidence after finishing the RR innings on a high, picked the ball up and nailed the direct hit at the wicketkeeper's end. Sunil Narine fell short of the popping crease and had to walk out with a devastated face.

Finch and Iyer help KKR recover!

After losing Sunil Narine on the very first ball of the innings, Shreyas Iyer and Aaron Finch got KKR's innings back on track with a century partnership. The duo accumulated 57 runs in the first six overs. Aaron Finch, after struggling at first, redeemed himself with a brilliant half-century. Although he did not play neatly like Buttler, he was doing the job for KKR.

The duo kept on building on the start they got and played their shots in the middle. The Australian captain got to his half-century off just 26 balls. He nudged a length delivery on his hips towards square leg for a single to bring his fifty. On the other end, Shreyas Iyer also showed his class as he raced to 39 off just 24 balls in the first eight overs.
