The ongoing European Cricket Series has produced some breathtaking cricket recently but things went absolutely magical on Monday. During match no. 26 between Kummerfelder Sportverein and THCC Hamburg in Kiel, batsman Ahmed Musaddiq went absolutely berserk and broke all kinds of records during his scintillating knock. The 32-year-old smashed 115 runs off only 33 deliveries and left everyone in shock with his heroics.

Musaddiq completes his century in 28 balls

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the Sportverein opener made his intentions clear quite early as he started his innings with a boundary down the fine leg followed by three consecutive mammoth sixes. As he was timing the ball brilliantly, Ahmed Musaddiq continued his assault and completed his half-century in only 13 deliveries. In the 5th over of the innings, the right-handed batsman came close to equaling another record as he smashed four consecutive sixes off the first four balls but failed to make it six in six. However, he continued to wreak havoc and reached a well-deserved ton in 28 deliveries, making it the fastest-ever hundred in the history of the tournament.

Watch Mussadiq's knock here:

Ahmed Mussadiq broke the record of fastest century in ECS previously held by Indian Cricket Club batsman Gohar Manan, who scored a 29-ball century against the Cluj Cricket Club. The stylish batsman smashed 13 sixes and 7 fours and ended with 115 runs to his name off 33 deliveries. Unfortunately, he lost his wicket on the last ball of the innings as the Sportverein finished at 198/2 in 10 overs, narrowly falling short of becoming the first team in ECS T10 history to score 200 runs.
