An infuriated Al-Ittihad fan couldn’t grasp the defeat of his side in the Saudi Super Cup final against their rivals Al-Hilal as he lashed out anger at one of his side’s leading players Abderrazak Hamdallah. The incident occurred following Karim Benzema’s side’s bitter defeat in the finals against Jorge Jesus' team in the Saudi Super Cup.
The former Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, who joined Al-Ittihad last summer, couldn’t leave his impact on the field as the home side’s only goal was scored by his striking partner Hamdallah in the 21st minute. However, it was then a lopsided show by Al-Hilal as they cruised to a remarkable 4-1 victory to register their record-extending fourth Saudi Super Cup title.
Following the defeat, the striker and the lone goal scorer Hamdallah faced the severe wrath of one of their spectators as he was attacked by the enraged fan en route to their dressing room. The No.99 responded to the fans' criticism by splashing water from his bottle and an angry Al-Ittihad fan took it to the next level as he brutally whipped Hamdallah.

Following the fan’s undeterred whipping, other players of Al-Ittihad came to pull him out to safety and intervene in the enraging drama. Other spectators also tried to intervene before security arrived to pull the furious spectator out.
