After scoring four goals in a single match on Thursday against Al-Wehda, Cristiano Ronaldo provided two assists in Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Taawoun on Friday to help Al-Nassr claim the top spot in the league standings with a 2-1 victory. However, Al-Taawoun's forward  Leandre Tawamba wasn't happy with his team's loss and his dejection was captured when he refused to shake hands with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

During the second goal, Ronaldo's positioning was under complication as the referee termed it offside, but the VAR confirmed the all-time top scorer is onside and rewarded the goal that helped Al-Nassr take three-points from the fixture and claim the top spot in the league. 

While the home crowd and Ronaldo's teammates were happy with the decision, Al-Taawoun's forward Tawamba expressed his dejection by refusing to shake hands with Ronaldo, who turned and presented his hand after the goal was allowed.

Al-Nassr captain Ronaldo displayed a playmaking performance in Friday's game as he registered two assists in the game. First, the 38-year-old produced a pin-point through ball to Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who went on to score a stunner, and then provided a assist in the box to defender Abdullah Madu, who scored the winner with 12 minutes remaining into the game.

In the Saudi Pro League standings, Al-Nassr are placed at the top with 40 points in 17 matches followed by AL-Ittihad with same points in equal matches, however, the Faris Najd are at the top with a better goal-difference.
