After scoring four goals in a single match on Thursday against Al-Wehda, Cristiano Ronaldo provided two assists in Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Taawoun on Friday to help Al-Nassr claim the top spot in the league standings with a 2-1 victory. However, Al-Taawoun's forward Leandre Tawamba wasn't happy with his team's loss and his dejection was captured when he refused to shake hands with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
During the second goal, Ronaldo's positioning was under complication as the referee termed it offside, but the VAR confirmed the all-time top scorer is onside and rewarded the goal that helped Al-Nassr take three-points from the fixture and claim the top spot in the league.
While the home crowd and Ronaldo's teammates were happy with the decision, Al-Taawoun's forward Tawamba expressed his dejection by refusing to shake hands with Ronaldo, who turned and presented his hand after the goal was allowed.
