Alpine F1  became the fourth Formula 1 team to launch its car for the 2024 season on February 7, Wednesday. The French company joined the likes of Haas, Williams, and Stake F1 to unveil their liveries for the upcoming season. Apart from their car for the 2024 season, the company also unveiled the A424 car, which will compete for them in the World Endurance Championship, including Le Mans, later in 2024. The F1 squad will aim to bounce back after a rough 2023 season. 

Alpine slipped from fourth to sixth spot in the standings and lost several senior technical and management figures. Their driver line-up consisting of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon managed to find a podium finish each in 2023, and with the launch of their car, they will hope for more consistent results in the forthcoming season. 


Alpine launches car for Formula 1 2024 season

The French manufacturing company launched the car for the 2024 season in a grand event that was live-streamed on their YouTube channel. Alpine later took to social media and posted the picture of their challenger A524 which was captioned, “Our 2024 challenger is here. Meet A524.”

During the event, Bruno Famin, the Alpine VP of Motorsports & Team Principal, said, “Alpine was born from racing. Motorsport are the perfect match for us. We are really excited to bring emotion, transfer technology and make the brand shine. Today we will discover the Hypercar A424 and the new Formula 1 A524. Alpine is one of the two manufacturers in the world that can do this."
