With Abhishek Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh giving the hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad a quick start, they fell like a pack of cards thereafter. Earlier in the game, Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat first, yet again having a struggling start against the Lucknow Super Giants bowlers. While Abhishek Sharma was dismissed on the first delivery of the third over, his opening part soon followed.

On the fifth delivery of the ninth over, LSG skipper Krunal Pandya yet again called Amit Mishra into the attack. The only batter who looked to cross the 30-run mark so far in the match, Anmolpreet Singh shimmied down the wicket as he got an edge. The veteran leg-spinner, who bowled a loopy delivery took a sharp catch off his bowling to dismiss the in-form batter.

Talking about the two teams’ performance so far in the Indian Premier League, while Krunal Pandya-led LSG sit at the fifth spot with five wins and as many losses off 11 games, SRH continue to occupy the ninth spot with just four wins and six losses from the ten matches played so far.
