Indian spin-bowling great and Dindigul Dragons captain R Ashwin was seen yelling at a teammate during the Tamil Na du Premier League Eliminator clash against the Chepauk Super Gillies. Playing at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul, the Dragons registered a hard-fought four-wicket win as Ashwin showcased his batting skills .
Ashwin came out to bat at No. 3 against the Super Gillies in the 159-run chase and stitched up a 112-run stand for the second wicket with Shivam Singh, who scored 64 runs. Ashwin smashed 57 from 35 balls while hammering four fours and four sixes and was named the Player of the Match.

But in the chase, the Dragons suffered a mini-collapse after Ashwin's dismissal as they lost three wickets over the next four overs. In these troubling times, R Ashwin was seen aggressively yelling at the two batters in the middle as they attempted a risky single.

Ashwin was named Player-of-the-Match in the Eliminator clash and s poke about chatting with his teammates about the near-collapse situation. Ravichandran Ashwin said, "Pressure does these things (on the near collapse), we'll have to have a chat, but the important thing was we closed the game."
"It was an imperfect game, despite our shoddy bowling and fielding, we kept them down to a low score. As an international and IPL player, the responsibility was with me to do well (with the bat). We haven't played the perfect game, hopefully, we'll do well in the coming games. Thankful for the crowd for having turned up," he added.
