The impressive Barsapara stadium is the second home for the Rajasthan Royals as a part of their initiative to promote cricket in Northeast India and they also are working on the grassroots level opportunities given to the cricketers in the remote part of the country.

Culture is a big part of our country and its people, so its integration into sports is very natural as players are greeted with the local cultural activities and food everywhere they go and they get to know more about the diversity in our country. So, when the Punjab team reached Guwahati they were greeted by the indigenous folk dance ‘Bihu’, which reached all over India when Riyan Parag, the Royals allrounder, used it as a celebration. The Punjabi Munda Arshdeep Singh joined in with the dancers and it was a wholesome moment and a sweet gesture from the left-arm seamer.

The video of the pacer dancing has gone viral on Twitter and has gained positive reactions from the public. The RR all-rounder, Riyan also retweeted and said “love those moves”.

The Punjab Kings will face a stern test in Rajasthan Royals who won their first match by a whopping margin of 72 runs and showed their class. Arshdeep Singh and Shikhar Dhawan will be the key players if the Kings have to beat the Royals in Guwahati.
