The French teenager Arthur Fils recreated the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo goal scoring celebration “Siuuu” after getting the better of Flavio Cobolli, 21, during the Next Gen ATP Finals at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. The 19-year-old won his second straight round-robin match in Green Group by 4-1, 4-2, 4-2 against the fifth seed Italian to reach the semi-final.
As the top seed of the Next Gen ATP Finals, organised between the best 21-and-under players of the season, Arthur Fils had defeated the seventh seed Luca Nardi of Italy in a tough battle by 2-4, 4-3(6), 4-2, 1-4, 4-2. The French tennis sensation is scheduled to play his third and final round-robin match of the Next Gen ATP Finals against the third seed Dominic Stricker of Switzerland.
The iconic “Siuuu” celebration from Arthur Fils happened after he secured his third straight set against Flavio Cobolli to earn a victory in the Next Gen ATP Finals. Notably, this tournament has the best-of-five-sets format wherein each player must be the first to win four games, while the tiebreaker is set to happen with the scoreline reading 3-3.

Hamad Medjedovic wins both matches in Next Gen ATP Finals
In the Red Group, the Serbian sixth seed Hamad Medjedovic has won two matches out of two in the Next Gen ATP Finals, while the second seed Frenchman Luca van Assche and the eighth seed Jordanian Abdullah Shelbayh have got one victory each. The fourth and final participant of the group, the sixth seed American Alex Michelsen has been on the receiving end of two consecutive defeats.
