Bangladesh have walked into 2022 in some style and scripted history after defeating New Zealand in the first Test at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. The Mominul Haque-led side beat Kiwis in their own backyard and ended New Zealand's 8-series winning streak. It was a moment of joy for the Bangladesh fans as well as the cricketers and they lived it to the fullest.

The dressing room was on its feet when Mushfiqur Rahim hit the winning runs off Kyle Jamieson. There was no one who could stop them from running around on the field and why would anyone. It was one of those moments where nothing else mattered. The Tigers had done something amazing and needed a celebration of the same level. So, Rahim took the onus on himself and came up with an idea to sing the victorious anthem 'Aamra Korbo Joy' (We shall Overcome).

In a video shared by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Twitter, every member of the Bangladesh squad is seen enjoying the historic moment in the dressing room. All the players and support staff got together and sang the chores of  'Amra Korbo Joy'.
