The fifth Test between England and India is all set to take place at The Oval in London from July 31 onwards. This Test will decide if England clinches the five-match series 3-1 or if India can showcase the "never give up" attitude from earlier by drawing the series 2-2 with a victory. The stakes are high for both the teams and both the sides will aim to put their best foot forward throughout the game.
A major miss for India in the final Test will be Jasprit Bumrah as he is reportedly set to be rested by the team management to manage his workload. Meanwhile, another big news regarding the match broke through that the captain of the England cricke team, Ben Stokes, will the final test due to injury concerns. During a press conference ahead of the fifth test, Ben Stokes revealed that he has opted out of the Test match because of the shoulder injury.

Ben Stokes is suffering from a tear in the right shoulder, and the English skipper stated that if the injury worsens, it could prove fatal to his career. He felt that the risk of what the injury can transform into, is not worth taking. Stokes further added that he will continue to focus on rehabilitation and recovery before shifting his focus on the next challenge to be faced by the England cricket team in the upcoming winter: The Ashes against Australia down under.
England are also set to miss Jofra Archer in the final Test, to give him proper rest after since he has played back-to-back Test matches in over four years. Regardless, they will look to pressure the Indian cricket team right from the start of the fifth Test match at The Oval in London. It will be interesting to see if Team India captained by Shubman Gill will manage to hold their nerves and emerge victorious in a must-win contest.
