As Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to play in the playoffs of IPL 2025, the franchise welcomed Blessing Muzarabani in their camp ahead of the knockout stages. The Zimbabwean pacer was picked as a replacement for South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi and will be seen in action for RCB in the playoffs. Notably, Ngidi also left the RCB camp earlier to join the South African squad for the upcoming World Test championship final against Australia starting on June 11.
RCB shared a video on their social media where they announced the arrival of Blessing Muzarabani. The post was shared a with a caption “𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 with bounce, pace, and flair, Muzarabani’s bringing fire, tough to bear. Welcome to RCB, Blessing, can’t wait to see you #PlayBold!.” Muzarabani was recently seen in action in the one-off Test against England in Nottingham from May 22 to 24. The right-arm pacer ended up taking three wickets in that game.

RCB aim top-2 spot after win against LSG
RCB are set to take on Lucknow Super Giants in the last league match of IPL 2025 at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on May 27. Having already qualified for the playoffs, Rajat Patidar and his men will now look to claim the top-two spot in the points table with a win against LSG. RCB suffered a big defeated in their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad and end will look to end the league stage with a win. They are currently placed at the third spot in the points table with eight wins and four losses in 13 matches amassing 19 points.
