Washington Wizards pulled off a sensational come back from 20 points behind to beat Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Thursday night in the NBA 2022-23 regular season as Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Wolves guard Anthony Edwards put up a show with their duel. While Beal registered 35 points, six rebounds and five assists, Edwards made 34 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Beal scored 13 of his 35 points over the final five minutes into the game to help the Wizards beat the Timberwolves 114-106 on Thursday night.
Beal scored his season-high 35 points while Edwards had 18 of his 34 points in the first quarter to help the Timberwolves manage a 20-point lead, however, failed to win their home fixture against the Wizards.

With 4:40 remaining in the third quarter, the Wolves were managing a 10-point lead over the Wizards and Edwards produced an amazing play as he stole the ball from Beal and finished through contact in transition.

Apart from Beal and Edwards, Wolves center Rudy Gober scored 17 points and made 19 rebounds while forward Kyle Anderson registered 18 points, five rebounds and eight assists. On the other hand, Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma registered 16 points, seven rebounds in 35 minutes of his appearance.
Among both the teams, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is the only player, who has been selected for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.
