Many former cricketers often take their time out to analyze the current crop of cricketers and their game. Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar is one of those former cricketers who are quite active and regularly share their views on the game. Akhtar, in a recent interview, talked about Jos Buttler's recent form and went on to say that if England had promoted Buttler at the top of the order instead of Ben Stokes, Buttler would have been the superstar of England.
Jos Buttler smashed the maiden hundred of IPL 2022 as Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 23 runs at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Saturday. Buttler looked in sublime form as he smashed a 66-ball century consisting of 11 fours and five sixes.
Speaking on a show "SK Match Ki Baat", Shoaib Akhtar said, "Jos Buttler is the name of a very big magician. He can score on bad pitches too and on good pitches, he scores runs at will. Buttler is a very big talent. He has not been give the due credit that he should have received. Jos Buttler is one of the most, most perfect player, most lethal force to reckon with right now."
